Professional assistance designed to assist the injured worker in returning to his/her former employment or to a job related to that employment; in the alternative, to assist the injured employee in returning to a job in another work area which produces an economic status as close as possible to what he/she would have enjoyed without disability. This assistance may include direct job placement, on-the-job training or formal retraining of up to 156 weeks.
